What to Expect on Your First Call With Us

Most first calls are short and free. Here's what we'll ask, what we won't, and how to make the most of it.

3 min read

We'll ask about the charge, the date and county of your court appearance, and any paperwork you have from the officer or magistrate. Have those papers in front of you if possible.

We will NOT ask you to admit anything over the phone. Don't volunteer details you wouldn't want repeated — we only need enough information to understand the scope of your case.

By the end of the call, you'll have a clear sense of next steps, likely costs, and whether you need to come in for a longer consultation.

Have a specific question about your case?

These articles are general information, not legal advice. Call to talk about your specific situation.
